Description
VMware is a company that develops virtualization software, which allows for the creation of virtual machines (VMs) that run on a single physical server. Virtualization technology enables multiple operating systems and applications to run on the same hardware, reducing IT costs and increasing efficiency and agility.
One of VMware’s flagship products is vSphere, which is an enterprise workload engine that optimizes data center performance and management. vSphere consists of several components, such as ESXi, a hypervisor that provides the virtualization layer; vCenter Server, a centralized management platform; and vSAN, a software-defined storage solution.
